HVAC Engineer, Beeston, start 07/09/2026 Location: Beeston, NG90 Start: Monday 07/09/2026 Duration: 2 months Hours: 40 hours per week, 7:30am-4:30pm Rate: £28.17 per hour Umbrella PAYE / £21.64 per hour PAYE We are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer for a 2-month contract. Duties will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance Fault finding and repairs across HVAC plant and equipment Maintenance of VRV/VRF air conditioning systems Working with refrigerants and ensuring safe handling of F-Gas Monitoring plant and equipment performance and improving efficiency Using BMS systems to monitor and manage environmental conditions Completing maintenance records and documentation using a CAFM system Identifying and managing equipment risks and critical spares Completing and following Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permits Liaising with the onsite Supervisor, Account Manager and client Supporting the wider maintenance team with mechanical and electrical expertise Supervising subcontractors when required Supporting site Health & Safety requirementsRequirements: Strong HVAC maintenance experience F-Gas qualification VRV/VRF air conditioning experience Good fault-finding skills Multi-skilled mechanical/electrical experience PPM and reactive maintenance experience Relevant apprenticeship/City & Guilds qualification IPAF/PASMA and BMS experience desirable Tech-People are a leading recruitment business within M&E and Construction.
