A leading and well-respected air conditioning contractor based in Essex is seeking a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to take the next step in their career!
The Role: As a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and reactive repair of air conditioning systems across a diverse commercial client base in Essex, London, and surrounding areas. Service and maintain DX systems, splits, VRVs, and VRFs. Carry out occasional chiller servicing and breakdowns (full in-house training provided). Participate in a 1-in-4 callout rota, with additional pay for being on call. Deliver a high standard of work whilst representing a professional and well-established business.
The Ideal Candidate:
- City & Guilds Level 2 in F Gas and ODS Regulations (Category 1) is essential; Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is preferred.
- Proven experience in servicing and repairing air conditioning systems.
- Chiller experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Full UK driving license is required.
- Based in Essex and within a commutable distance to South Essex.
The Senior Air Conditioning Engineer will be on a basic salary of up to £48,000, depending on experience. Benefits include van, door-to-door travel pay, callout rota, training, and career development.
