You must be within a comfortable commute to Glasgow as this role requires regular on-site collaboration. Tech Pair are delighted to be working with this organisation in Glasgow who are currently going through a digital transformation programme. This is not a typical architecture role. This is a hands-on Solutions Architect position at the centre of a major transformation programme, where you’ll play a key role in modernising a legacy-heavy environment and shaping the future technology landscape.
The purpose of the role is to design and deliver end-to-end solutions across applications, infrastructure, cloud, integration and security working from initial concept through to implementation. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and third-party partners to define, design and implement solutions that are both practical and scalable.
Skills you will bring:
- A strong, well-rounded architecture background across cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP experience), infrastructure, applications and integration, with experience modernising legacy systems and designing scalable, secure solutions.
- You’ll have experience working with APIs, data flows and enterprise platforms, and be comfortable balancing innovation with governance in a complex environment.
- You’ll be comfortable operating as the architectural authority in a small team, able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and confident engaging stakeholders across both business and technology.
- It goes without saying you’ll be an excellent communicator, able to simplify complexity and drive decisions someone who takes pride in delivering properly and building things that last.
