Job Description:
- Skills: Testing Methodology, Automation Framework Development, Selenium, Cypress, JIRA, Xray, Postman, AI enabled Testing Solution (AVO, AccelQ, UiPath), Plutora, Apwide Golive, AWS/Azure/GCP basic fundamentals, Unix shell Scripting, Performance Engineering Methodology, SRE, LoadRunner, J-Meter, Dynatrace, Splunk, Gremlin, Performance Testing process, Telecom Domain, Thought Leadership and Program Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Test Automation Solutions: Design and develop test automation strategy and solutions that integrate with existing testing tools and frameworks.
- Implement Test Automation: Implement test automation solutions, including scripting, framework development, and tool integration.
- ROI on automation testing: Ensure customers have ROI on testing tools by realizing productivity and efficiency gains in the testing area.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders, including testing teams, development teams, Scrum Master, and product management.
- Test Environment Planning: Develop and implement test environment strategies and plans to support testing activities.
- Environment Management: Manage & monitor test environment infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network resources.
- Environment Design: Design and configure test environments to meet the needs of testing teams.
- Design Performance Test Strategy and Plans: Develop comprehensive performance test strategies and plans to be implemented across program level.
- Thought Leadership: Keep up to date with market trends and implement new tools and techniques for the program. Participate in NASTA, TESTA awards.
- Ensure Best Practices: Ensure that best practices in performance testing are followed, and conduct root cause analysis of performance issues.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on designing and developing test automation frameworks and solutions.
- Ability and proven experience in advising clients on test automation strategy, setting direction for long term automation plan, bringing in best practices and ROI evaluation.
- Serving as an expert in defining and rolling out standard Automation Frameworks (Functional and Nonfunctional), in line with latest industry trends.
- Advanced / Expert level of knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies including Agile and DevOps and processes.
- Assist the SDET’s and Automation engineers to create automation framework which comply with automation best practices.
- Assist in creation of reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of the test scripts.
- Provide a practical approach to complex product testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of regression testing.
- Be a creative and proactive thinker and make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.
- Consult and discuss with respective application teams/SMEs to develop automation scripts.
- Identify data needed and be responsible for acquiring test data e.g., coordinate with TDM stream to prepare required test data.
- Review product requirements, functional and design specifications to determine and prepare automated test cases.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, including testing teams, development teams, and product management.
- Strong technical expertise in test automation.
- Experience with test automation tools, such as Selenium, Cypress, AccelQ, AVO, Appium, or Cucumber.
- Having competencies around DevOps, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
- Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Mentor team for Technical White paper publishing at international forum.
- Hands-on experience in any of the COTS products in scope - SalesForce, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle-CRM, NetCracker is mandatory.
- Certifications in test automation, such as Certified Test Automation Engineer (CTAE) or any market leading test automation tool certification like TOSCA, UiPath etc.
- Experience with test environment management tools, such as Plutora, Appwide Golive and hands-on virtualization and cloud-based technologies.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure management, including hardware, software, and network resources.
- Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible or Puppet.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of telecom protocols, standards, and technologies.
- Certifications in test environment management tool like Plutora etc., virtualization, or cloud-based technologies.
- Expert in Dynatrace, instrumenting the binaries, analysing the metrics based on application stack.
- Should have good understanding of Splunk.
- Hands-on experience on Microservices and related technologies which includes Kafka, Couchbase, Cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker etc.
- Expert in debugging the memory dumps, reviewing/tweaking the configs, to derive GC dumps.
- Expert in Java/J2EE architectural skills.
- Deep data analytic skills or data scientist.
- Hands-on experience on cutting edge applications of Predictive analytics and Machine learning.
- Hands-on experience on development of QA Dashboard with Angular JS, Springboot and MongoDB.
- Create data by utilizing test data tools to setup and request data.
- Relevant work experience in test data management role, defect management, test data requests handling & data provisioning.
- Experience of setting up complete Big Data on multi-cluster environment along with Predictive Analytics application including performance optimizations on PROD environment.
- Experience with workload modelling and benchmarking prod/pre-prod environments.
- Experience with profiling and tuning application server, web server and DB server (preferably).
