Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with a strong background in managing large-scale testing programs within the Financial Services/BFSI domain.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in test delivery, stakeholder management, executive reporting, team leadership, and driving quality assurance across complex transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end testing activities for large-scale programs, ensuring successful delivery within timelines and quality standards.
  • Define and execute test strategies, test plans, governance, and reporting frameworks.
  • Manage cross-functional testing teams comprising Test Leads, Test Analysts, and automation resources.
  • Engage with business, technology, and senior stakeholders to provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
  • Drive test planning, defect management, environment coordination, and release readiness activities.
  • Establish testing KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level reporting for program governance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards applicable to the Financial Services sector.
  • Identify and resolve delivery risks while continuously improving testing processes and quality metrics.

Mandatory Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale programs within the Financial Services/Banking domain.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior leadership and business sponsors.
  • Experience in test governance, reporting, metrics, and program-level status tracking.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing geographically distributed testing teams.
  • Strong understanding of Functional, Integration, System, UAT, and End-to-End Testing.
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working on digital transformation, core banking, payments, lending, or regulatory programs.
  • Exposure to automation testing and test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure Dev Ops.
  • ISTQB or equivalent testing certification preferred.
