Job Purpose To provide technical oversight, platform stability, and operational compliance for clients OSS, BSS, Data and Network platforms. This role ensures that active services remain available, secure, and performant while managing legacy vendor estates and driving improvements. Key Responsibilities * Platform Stability & Support: Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving faults in a 24/7/365 environment. * Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the lifecycle of strategic and legacy platforms * Governance & Compliance: Ensuring all changes align with ITIL standards, security policies, and SLA requirements. * Capacity & Performance: Monitoring the performance of OSS, BSS systems, Data platform and network capacity, licence thresholds, and certificates. * Incident Management: Participating in on call rotas to handle major incidents, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing corrective actions. * Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation, playbooks, and end to end operational procedures. * Supplier Coordination: Coordinating activities between engineering teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience * Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of OSS, BSS systems, Data platform, Fibre, Ethernet, SOGEA, SOTAP, Copper products, broadband platforms, architecture, and network EMS systems. * Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and protocols such as BGP/OSPF. * Operational Mindset: Strong data driven approach to troubleshooting and improving service reliability. * Communication: Confident communicator capable of challenging and enforcing governance
