We are looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to provide first-line technical support to end users. The role involves assisting with common IT and PC-related issues, ensuring users can work effectively with minimal disruption.
- Provide first-line support for end users via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues, including:
- Password resets and account access issues.
- Software installation and basic configuration.
- Network connectivity (Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Set up and prepare IT equipment (laptops, desktops, mobile devices).
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees (user accounts, hardware setup).
- Log, track, and update support tickets in the IT service management system.
- Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with common IT tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Relevant IT education or certification (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in a helpdesk or support role.
- Willingness to learn and develop IT skills.
