Role Purpose: Enable data grounding for agents, ensuring high-quality, secure, and context-rich retrieval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Ingestion: Build pipelines for PDFs, SharePoint, databases, and other enterprise sources; Extract structured and unstructured data; Chunking and Embeddings; Implement semantic chunking and metadata tagging; Optimize embedding strategies.
- Knowledge Systems: Build vector database pipelines; Support knowledge graph use cases where applicable.
- Access Control: Implement RBAC at document level; Ensure secure and compliant retrieval.
- Data Quality: Monitor data drift and schema changes.
Technical Stack:
- Must Have: SQL and Python; Experience with Airflow, AWS Glue, or Spark; Experience handling structured and unstructured data; AWS S3 and Athena (or equivalent data lake technologies).
- Good to Have: Vector databases; Document parsing tools (Textract, Unstructured.io, or similar); Kafka; Knowledge graphs (Neo4j or Neptune); GraphRAG exposure.
