Role Summary
The Delivery Director is accountable for end to end delivery outcomes for a 50 to 60 person, multi workstream technology program. This role leads delivery governance, execution discipline, stakeholder management, and operational readiness across platform, application, data, AI, security, SRE, QA, integration, and enablement teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own integrated delivery plan, milestones, dependencies, and release calendar across all workstreams.
- Run governance cadence including steerco, delivery reviews, RAID, and decision logs with clear actions and owners.
- Lead senior stakeholder engagement and provide concise, data driven reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Drive delivery excellence across scope, schedule, quality, and reliability with measurable acceptance criteria.
- Ensure secure by design delivery in partnership with security teams, including IAM, compliance evidence, and change control.
- Oversee DevOps and SRE practices including CI CD discipline, observability, incident management, and service readiness.
- Own budget, forecasting, resource planning, and vendor delivery management; partner with FinOps on cloud cost governance.
- Build and lead a high performing leadership layer including Technical PMs and workstream leads; coach, develop, and retain talent.
- Lead build to run transition including runbooks, support model, on call readiness, and knowledge transfer to operations.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, root cause analysis, and standardization of delivery processes.
Required Experience
- 12 plus years in technology delivery with 5 plus years leading large programs or multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Proven experience leading delivery organizations of 50 plus people, including multi vendor delivery.
- Hands on governance experience with Agile delivery at scale, dependency management, and release management.
- Strong financial and commercial management experience including budgets, forecasting, and change control.

- Program governance, risk management, and escalation management with strong judgement.
- Technical fluency across cloud platforms, platform engineering, CI CD, SRE practices, and security fundamentals.
