Where You’ll Fit Within the Team
We’re looking for a product designer who’s ready to drive exceptional digital experiences from idea to execution. In this role, you’ll join our Next Generation Software Solutions (NGSS) team, where we build and support the digital tools Bain teams rely on to deliver results—faster and smarter.
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll be part of the Design guild within Bain’s NGSS team, focused on helping Bain’s Industry and Capability Practices digitize their intellectual property. You’ll collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment that values curiosity, clarity, and design excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Drive product design from discovery through delivery, using Figma to create high-quality, intuitive, and accessible designs.
- Partner with product and engineering throughout agile development cycles to ensure user needs and design intent are met.
- Lead user research efforts—conducting testing, analyzing feedback, and transforming insights into actionable requirements.
- Incorporate AI and automation where appropriate to improve product efficiency, experience, and outcomes.
- Advocate for inclusive, human-centered design practices and contribute to shared design systems, tools, and team rituals.
- Shape early product visions through workshops and stakeholder engagement, bringing clarity to complex opportunity spaces.
About You

You’ll Succeed In This Role If You Have
- 2–4 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or similar roles.
- Fluency in Figma and experience with modern design systems.
- Comfort working end-to-end—from research to wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
- An understanding of how AI and automation can inform and enhance user workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills—especially when working with technical and non-technical teammates alike.
- A track record of making thoughtful, data-informed design decisions.
