Hours: 37 hours per week | Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and managing subcontractor activities from start to finish
- Carrying out quality inspections and sign off checks using PDI standards
- Approving suppliers and maintaining up to date contractor agreements
- Managing permit to work processes and reviewing detailed work plans
- Producing performance reports and maintaining contractor league tables
- Overseeing training and approval for contractor engineers
- Conducting off site quality checks and ensuring technical compliance
Requirements
- Experience in subcontractor coordination, supplier management, or quality focused roles
- Strong background in quality control and inspection processes
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Excellent organisation, communication, and problem solving skills
- Confident using contractor management systems and Microsoft Office
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering/Manufacturing
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
- HGV licence β desirable
