Job Description
Tech Connect Group are pleased to partner with a national business in their search for a SEO Specialist to join their Digital Marketing team. \\n\\nWe are seeking individuals who are motivated, passionate and committed to all things SEO, driven by user metrics and campaign results, and passionate about building lasting relationships with new and existing clients.\\n\\nThis role requires previous SEO experience, ideally within an agency, and needs someone who can hit the ground running. An interest in AI will also be a strong advantage, particularly of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).\\n\\nBased out of their Southampton or Salisbury offices, this role requires you to be in the office on a hybrid basis, 2 days a week.\\n\\nPlease note, this role does require the usage of timesheets – please ensure you are comfortable with this before applying. \\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n- Be the key SEO contact to dedicated accounts, developing and owning SEO campaigns, as well as providing ad hoc support to the Projects team.\\n\\n- Conduct in-depth SEO Audits & Competitor Analysis.\\n\\n- Develop SEO strategies that are aligned with client goals, objectives and KPIs.\\n\\n- Make strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams to improve websites for SEO and UX.\\n\\n- Research and compile data to inform decision making pertaining to campaign performance.\\n\\n- Able to set-up Google Analytics (Universal and GA4) and implement via Google Tag Manager.\\n\\n- Perform keyword research and analysis to identify keyword opportunities, including SERP features.\\n\\n- Conduct on-site and off-site SEO tasks conforming to best practice guidelines.\\n\\n- Work with the content team to develop content strategies based on opportunities and gaps.\\n\\n- Strong written ability to write original content that is optimised and tailored for the target audience.\\n\\n- Make technical recommendations in-line with SEO best practice and work closely with the in-house development team to implement changes.\\n\\n- Prepare and deliver monthly client reports.\\n\\n- Build and foster strong working relationships with clients and other internal teams.\\n\\nKey Skills & Experience:\\n\\n- A minimum of 2 years' SEO experience in a similar role client side or in an agency\\n\\n- Ability to spot technical SEO issues and interpret HTML\\n\\n- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and work on multiple projects\\n\\n- Excellent writing and language skills\\n\\n- Excellent attention to detail\\n\\n- Strong planning and communication abilities\\n\\n- Experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Umbraco, Shopify, etc.\\n\\n- Experience using SEO tools such as SE Ranking, Majestic SEO, Screaming Frog, HotJar, VWO, etc.\\n\\n- Experience using Google products: Analytics (GA4), Search Console, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Business Profiles, Google Ads.\\n\\nThe ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the above areas and also be comfortable working with timesheets, due to the nature of the work.\\n\\nThe client offers regular social engagements, both on a departmental and company-wide basis, structured personal development plans and regular 1-2-1s with management, among other benefits. \\n\\nIf you are looking for that next step in your marketing career within a supportive and progressive culture, please apply
