Job Title: Senior Avionics Technician
Location: Kemble, Gloucestershire
Our client, a global pioneer in sustainable aviation is building technology to change the way the world travels, they are combining the very best talent from Aerospace, Formula 1 and Automotive to develop a cutting-edge electric aircraft. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Avionics Technician to join their team in Kemble, Gloucestershire.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out the fitting of electrical / avionic aircraft components.
- Carrying out the build, testing and commissioning of sub-assemblies and full aircraft systems including low and high voltage electrical and mechanical systems as well as providing support for aircraft systems test and flight test activities.
- Ensuring all appropriate paper work or recording is completed and maintained (job cards, tech logs, tech library, ERP system entries).
- Maintaining a high standard of tool cleanliness and control throughout the workshop assembly areas, labs and machine rooms and maintaining exemplary FOD prevention methods throughout.
Shift Pattern
- Early / Late shift pattern – weekly rotation
- 06:00-14:30
- 14:00-22:00
Key Skills, Qualifications, Experience
- BTEC National Certificate Aerospace Engineering or higher,
- Relevant commercial aircraft apprenticeship or military equivalent.
- Minimum 2-5 years’ aircraft build / production experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
