Our client, a leading Aerospace manufacturer, is looking for a dedicated and detail oriented Quality Inspector to join their team in Farnborough. This role is crucial for maintaining and improving quality throughout their production processes. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in visual inspection, preferably with aerospace parts, though experience in other engineering or manufacturing sectors will also be considered. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance: Visually inspect workmanship, materials, and adherence to procedures, ensuring all standards and compliance requirements are met. Equipment Calibration: Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment to required standards. Defect Analysis: Identify defects, provide feedback to the QA team, and initiate corrective actions where necessary. Support for Quality Concerns: Assist with the interpretation of specifications and address quality concerns throughout the production process. Raw Material Inspection: Ensure the consistency and integrity of raw materials. Documentation: Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork related to inspections and quality checks. Qualifications: Experience: Proven background in Inspection/Quality within an Engineering Manufacturing environment, Aerospace desirable. Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a hands-on approach to quality control. Technical Skills: Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
