We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Chassis Team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop innovative concepts and design the next generation of market-leading products, supporting the team from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, engineer, and validate new systems and components from concept to production.
- Communicate design requirements clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support product launches and provide engineering assistance to resolve production and field issues.
- Investigate service issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Person Profile / Requirements:
Qualifications: HNC/HND/Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (essential). M/BEng or Chartered Engineer (desirable).
