Tech Connect Group are seeking a motivated and reliable Quality Engineer to join a leading aerospace manufacturer, based in Hinckley. This is a key position within the Quality team, responsible for the delivery of quality manufactured product. This is an onsite role, 7:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am-12:30pm Fridays.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain and update all quality standards, procedures, and documentation to ensure they meet internal company benchmarks as well as all relevant industry requirements.
  • Manage internal and external audit participation and oversee equipment calibration.
  • Oversee daily KPIs and reporting, while actively supporting the shop floor to improve Right-First-Time (RFT) metrics and reduce scrap.
  • Lead the quality integration for new projects by performing technical gap analyses, developing standards through APQP/PPAP processes, and managing First Article Inspections.
  • Serve as the primary quality liaison for customers and vendors, ensuring robust RCCA are implemented for all quality issues and verifying that external suppliers strictly adhere to company standards.
  • Leverage strong analytical and project management skills to interpret complex business and customer needs, translating them into operational requirements to drive continuous improvement and maintain quality standards.
