We're recruiting for an established UK marine hardware manufacturer adding a Junior Project Manager to their busy Design & Engineering team. Great opportunity for someone early in their PM career to develop in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment.
You'll support the delivery of New Product Development and bespoke customer projects from concept to launch, working across design, production, procurement and commercial teams.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and maintaining project plans, timelines and trackers
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to keep projects aligned
- Running project meetings, capturing actions and chasing follow-ups
- Monitoring progress, flagging risks and escalating where needed
- Acting as key point of contact for internal teams and external customers
- Keeping project documentation accurate and up to date
- Producing status updates and reports
What we're looking for:
- 1–2 years in a project coordination or junior PM role (placement/internship counts)
- You need to have experience or education in Engineering, or a demonstrable interest in Engineering
- Strong organisation and time management
- Confident communicator who can juggle competing priorities
- Comfortable with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Proactive, solutions-focused attitude
Nice to have (not essential):
- PRINCE2 or APM certification (training provided)
- No degree required – assessed on experience and attitude
