We're recruiting for an established UK marine hardware manufacturer adding a Junior Project Manager to their busy Design & Engineering team. Great opportunity for someone early in their PM career to develop in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment.

You'll support the delivery of New Product Development and bespoke customer projects from concept to launch, working across design, production, procurement and commercial teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and maintaining project plans, timelines and trackers
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to keep projects aligned
  • Running project meetings, capturing actions and chasing follow-ups
  • Monitoring progress, flagging risks and escalating where needed
  • Acting as key point of contact for internal teams and external customers
  • Keeping project documentation accurate and up to date
  • Producing status updates and reports

What we're looking for:

  • 1–2 years in a project coordination or junior PM role (placement/internship counts)
  • You need to have experience or education in Engineering, or a demonstrable interest in Engineering
  • Strong organisation and time management
  • Confident communicator who can juggle competing priorities
  • Comfortable with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Proactive, solutions-focused attitude

Nice to have (not essential):

  • PRINCE2 or APM certification (training provided)
  • No degree required – assessed on experience and attitude
