We offer 40-hour per week option Salary: between £43,992 and £46,800 pa DOE (based on 45hpw) Are you a skilled technician with a passion for problem-solving and delivering exceptional service? We\’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our Aftermarket team! This is a mobile role where you\’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining specialist vehicles at customer sites and company workshops. You\’ll play a vital role in ensuring our vehicles are safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair faults on vehicle chassis and mounted equipment Carry out servicing and maintenance to a high standard Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure compliance with Department Of Transport specifications Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues Log all work using PDA software and maintain accurate service records Travel to customer sites across the UK, sometimes at short notice Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times Communicate clearly with customers and provide excellent service Support health and safety practices and complete risk assessments as required Ideal Candidate: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Previous experience in a similar role (Field Service, HGV Mechanic, Workshop Engineer) Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Knowledge of vehicle technology systems and compliance standards Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload Excellent communication and customer service skills Flexible with working hours and willing to travel General computer literacy and ability to complete technical documentation Experience with electric vehicles, IRTEC qualification, or HGV Class 2 licence is a bonus
