We are currently seeking a number of motivated Composite Laminators to join our growing, high-performance manufacturing team in Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity for junior composite professionals up to skilled composite professionals who take pride in producing high-quality components to exacting standards.

Location: Banbury

Hours: Friday/Saturday/Sunday - 06:00-18:00

Contract Type: Permanent

The Role

As a Composite Laminator, you will play a vital role in the manufacture of advanced composite components, supporting production across our weekday operation. You will be responsible for laminating, vacuum bagging, mould preparation, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture composite laminated components in accordance with laminate schedules, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Carry out laminating, vacuum bagging, and mould preparation activities to a high standard.
  • Prepare, maintain, and repair moulds as required.
  • Operate autoclaves and follow established production processes and procedures.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all health, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Support other production activities and departments as business needs require.
  • Identify potential issues and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Composite Laminator.
  • Strong knowledge of composite manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Experience with vacuum bagging and autoclave operations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to support wider production activities when required.
