On behalf of our client, a fast-growing Automotive production company, we are looking to appoint a Commercial Analyst to join their expanding sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with 2+ years experience working in a sales or commercial environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping business direction by transforming data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decisions, and collaborating with senior stakeholders. The Role As a Commercial Analyst, you\’ll report into the Head of Sales and will be directly involved in analysing, interpreting, and presenting data to drive commercial performance. This is a highly visible role where your work will have a direct impact on sales growth, pricing strategy, and market positioning. Duties: * Data Management & Reporting – build and maintain dashboards, reports, and models using Excel, Power BI or Tableau. * Insight & Analysis – analyse performance across products, markets, and customer segments to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. * Strategic Support – contribute to pricing strategies, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning, ensuring recommendations are commercially sound. * Stakeholder Engagement – collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Operational teams to ensure insights drive action. * Presenting Insights – communicate findings to senior leaders in a clear and impactful way. Experience Essential * Degree educated (Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related field). * 2+ experience in a commercial, analytical, or strategy-focused role. * Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modelling) and experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc). * Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. * Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders. Desirable * Experience using SQL or other data querying tools. * Exposure to pricing, customer segmentation, or market analysis. * Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in the automotive sector.
