Scope of Work
We require an experienced Network Support Engineer to provide onsite support for troubleshooting a Wireless Access Point (AP) experiencing Ethernet connectivity issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform onsite troubleshooting to identify the root cause of the AP connectivity issue.
- Verify Ethernet link status and test the existing cable run.
- Conduct cable testing and network connectivity validation.
- Determine whether the issue is related to cabling, the AP, switch port, or other network components.
- Replace the existing Ethernet cable if required.
- Utilize the existing cable tray/conduit pathway for any cable replacement work.
- Coordinate with the remote support team and provide troubleshooting updates.
- Validate AP connectivity and confirm successful restoration of service.
- Document findings, actions taken, and final resolution.
