Scope of Work

We require an experienced Network Support Engineer to provide onsite support for troubleshooting a Wireless Access Point (AP) experiencing Ethernet connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform onsite troubleshooting to identify the root cause of the AP connectivity issue.
  • Verify Ethernet link status and test the existing cable run.
  • Conduct cable testing and network connectivity validation.
  • Determine whether the issue is related to cabling, the AP, switch port, or other network components.
  • Replace the existing Ethernet cable if required.
  • Utilize the existing cable tray/conduit pathway for any cable replacement work.
  • Coordinate with the remote support team and provide troubleshooting updates.
  • Validate AP connectivity and confirm successful restoration of service.
  • Document findings, actions taken, and final resolution.
  • Obtain customer sign-off upon completion.
