The IM Digitalization Tools department acts as internal IT service provider for the TecAlliance Information Management Data Factory. We are a diverse and global team with over 40 team members in Europe and Vietnam. Our goal is to support the IM Data Factory by providing IT solutions, optimizing processes and decreasing manual efforts during the essential step of capturing, standardizing, transforming and processing vehicle-related technical data. We work in small teams and follow agile principles in order to create value and continuously improve our way of working.
This position will be allocated to the Global Data Platform initiative – a core strategic initiative of TecAlliance. As Senior Software Developer you will be part of a team of highly-skilled colleagues working on designing and building this modern, cloud-native and modular data management platform which will offer global, data-domain- and use-case driven services to support the core of TecAlliance’s business – data management.

Your Tasks:
- Own the software development patterns and practices: Maintain and evolve software development guidelines, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
- Collaborate & Guide: Work closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, act as a tech lead, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Conduct daily software engineering tasks: Analyze business and technical requirements, translate them into functioning code, and ensure high-quality software through unit tests, documentation, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and optimize: Perform root cause analysis and proactively solve technical issues to maintain system reliability and performance.
Your Profile:
- Significant recent experience in software development with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with cloud technologies like AWS (ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFront, S3, RDS, DynamoDB), serverless frameworks (or similar) and modern web application architecture.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Good prompt engineering skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Creative problem-solving with the ability to present complex topics clearly.
- Knowledge of database design and security best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and code review skills.
- Fluent in English, any other language skill is a plus.
