We are seeking an experienced and driven Civils Contracts Manager to join our growing team based in Inverness, overseeing a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the Highlands. Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, and project delivery personnel
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements
- Oversee budgets, cost control, forecasting, and contractual performance
- Maintain strong client relationships and attend progress meetings
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and company procedures
- Support planning, procurement, and resource allocation across projects
- Drive quality standards and continuous improvement throughout delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within civil engineering
- Strong background delivering infrastructure, roads, drainage, utilities, or earthworks projects
- Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts
- Strong commercial and operational management skills
- Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously
- SMSTS certification preferred
- Full UK driving licence required
