We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Site Manager to oversee the delivery of an External Wall Insulation (EWI) programme across Argyll and Bute. The role will involve managing and coordinating multiple live sites simultaneously, with current projects located in Oban, Mull and Rothesay, and upcoming works planned in Campbeltown and Dunoon.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and updating project programmes
- Coordinating and overseeing subcontractors across multiple trades, including scaffolding, boarding, roughcasting, plumbing, electrical, and enabling works
- Establishing and managing site compounds
- Organising waste management and site logistics
- Conducting quality control and health & safety inspections
- Maintaining strong communication with householders and stakeholders
- Providing regular progress updates to head office
Must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum. This position does not require full-time site presence; however, regular travel and site visits will be essential. Strong organisational skills, subcontractor management experience, and excellent communication abilities are critical to success in this role.
Further opportunities are expected later in the year across additional renewable and retrofit projects, including solar installations, air source heat pumps, and wider EWI programmes in other regions.
