A well-established and highly respected construction company in Scotland is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its senior delivery team. This is a permanent role based in the East of Scotland, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of high-quality projects with a forward-thinking contractor.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in client relationships, commercial performance and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple live projects across the East of Scotland
- Lead project teams, including Site Managers and Project Managers
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental standards
- Oversee commercial performance in collaboration with the commercial team
- Manage client relationships and attend progress meetings
- Programme planning, risk management and problem resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice across the business
About You
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within the construction industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- SMSTS, CSCS and relevant construction qualifications preferred
- Full UK driving licence
