About the role

With a dedicated teaching team across a variety of subject areas, we are seeking a passionate and ambitious Programme Leader to join our team at the Scarborough campus. The faculty of Creative and Digital is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Programme Leader in Music. This fast‑paced role involves working closely with other Programme Leaders and the Head of Faculty to deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Developing an innovative curriculum linked to industry
  • Delivering teaching, learning and assessment in line with awarding body and TEC partnership standards
  • Maintaining records
  • Analysing data and producing reports using a range of systems
  • Meeting with parents and attending other college events

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Occupational competence in the Music industry and relevant industry qualifications
  • Level 2/GCSE Maths and English
  • Level 3 Music (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience working in a teaching position
  • Experience of analysing data and writing reports
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to work toward)
  • Literacy and numeracy to at least Level 2
