About the role
The Learner Services team are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Practitioner to join the well‑established team. This is a fast‑paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with Programme Leaders and Heads of Faculty to provide high quality support to learners with SEN needs.
Other duties will include:
- Provide effective and appropriate support to assist learners in reaching their full potential
- Ensure learners’ educational experience is varied, enjoyable and achieves primary and additional learning goals.
- Maintaining records related to that support.
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience of supporting learning within a teaching/learning and/or practical environment.
Candidates should also have:
- L3 Vocational qualification
- Prior experience working with young people
- ICT competency
