We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join The Grimsby Institute in the role of Finance Assistant. If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!
About the role
The purpose of this role is to be actively involved in most aspects of a busy Transactional Finance Office. With particular emphasis on:
· Credit Control – Inc Banking and Income and other relating duties.
· Supplier Requisitions and Purchase Orders
· Supporting Budget Holders and Requisitioners with the Exchequer Mobile App
There will be the need to be able to provide cover during staff absences, for which on the job training will be provided.
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service, as well as strong organisation and administrative skills.
Candidates should also have:
· Level 2/GCSE Maths and English
· Prior experience working in a Finance office or administrative role
· Experience using finance software
· Some credit control experience would be desirable
· Experience with Excel.
