The Faculty of Service Industries is looking for a passionate and experienced Counselling tutor to teach from Level 2 to ideally Level 6 (BA). You will work closely within a small Counselling team and a Counselling Co-ordinator and take a key role in the development and delivery of the provision. Specifically you will:

Plan, prepare, deliver high quality theoretical and practical sessions to learners including preparation of suitable teaching and learning resources.

Carry out assessments of learning and progress tracking considering College processes and relevant Awarding Organisation requirements.

Review, develop and promote the Counselling curriculum considering national trends and developments within the sector.

Contribute to the marketing and promotion of the Counselling provision, including attending Open Events to enhance its profile.

Respond to learners’ needs and welfare with guidance and support.
