The Grimsby Institute is part of the TEC Partnership, which is a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation.
About the role
The MIS department are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Compliance Officer to join the Compliance team. This is a diverse role which involves working across multiple projects and funding streams, including apprenticeships and Skills Bootcamps. The role includes responsibility for validating data and liaising with both internal and external teams to ensure data accuracy. Other duties will include:
- Audit checks on all data and identifying the root cause of any errors
- Contributing towards developing processes and procedures for compliance
- Participating in both internal and external audit processes
- Provide advice to internal and external customers regarding possible funding options
About the person
Knowledge of various funding streams would be advantageous. The successful candidate will also have:
- GCSE English & Maths grade 4-9 or equivalent
- Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent experience
- An excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A strong ability to work as part of a team, supporting and sharing knowledge
- The ability to investigate and identify the root cause of errors
