Casual Invigilator (25/354)
£12.34 hourly pay + £2.04 holiday pay
Hours are variable – as and when based.
Location: The Grimsby Institute
Please note that this is not a permanent position.
About the role
This role covers a mixture of Exams for both Further Education and Higher Education with numerous awarding bodies. The busiest time is May and June when you will be required to help assist in the invigilation of all Exams across the numerous South Bank campuses (Grimsby, Skegness, The Academy Grimsby, University Centre Grimsby).
You will be expected to assist in the running of Exams to a high standard, abiding by all JCQ rules and regulations and always ensuring security and integrity. Full training will be provided along with a period of shadowing real Exams alongside experienced invigilators.
About the person
We are looking for someone who has confidence with using PCs and understanding multiple awarding body systems, and who can command large groups of learners as well as supporting smaller groups of 1‑to‑1 scenarios.
- Level 2 Business Administration
- Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively as a member of a team
