We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a specialist team on a bespoke project basis. This is a hands-on, varied role that goes beyond standard welding, ideal for someone with a technical mindset and engineering background. This role sits outside of IR35 and offers a minimum three-month contract, with the potential for extension depending on project flow and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Welding of bespoke stainless steel structures (primarily 304, some 316)
- MIG and TIG welding to high standards
- Cutting, bending, and fabricating components
- Adding brackets and structural fittings
- Assembling pre-manufactured elements
- Interpreting drawings and technical specs to build custom projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
- Competence in working with 304 and 316 stainless steel
- Strong fabrication skills - cutting, bending, and general assembly
- Engineering or technically-minded background
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on bespoke builds
- Understanding of structural integrity and design practicality
Hourly rate: 20 - 28 an hour (dependant on experience)
