An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join a leading water company. This role is ideal for a talented individual looking to apply their expertise in wastewater treatment design and site operations while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing wastewater treatment processes, including control philosophies, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs
- Preparing performance specifications, compliance assessments, and commissioning plans
- Leading process innovation to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Providing technical expertise in site operations, supporting commissioning activities, and optimising treatment performance
- Troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development
Requirements:
- A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline (MEng/BEng/BSc)
- Chartered membership with a relevant professional institution (preferred)
- At least six years of experience in the water industry or consultancy
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment design, operations, optimisation, and commissioning
- Ability to analyse data and develop process solutions
Working Arrangements:
