We are looking for a proactive Assistant Production Planner to join our busy Manufacturing and Assembly team. You will support production scheduling, materials planning, and coordination across projects and stock builds, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials and parts are available.
- Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and track parts requirements.
- Group parts for supplier tendering and production sequencing.
- Follow up on supplier delivery schedules and manage inventory levels.
- Work with warehouse and assembly teams to ensure materials are available.
- Communicate updates and potential risks to internal teams.
- Input and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication and IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- CAD software experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to learning and improving processes.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production planning, manufacturing, or engineering preferred.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications desirable but not essential.
Benefits:

- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
