Our client, a well-established and respected company specialising in environmental infrastructure projects, is looking to appoint a Mechanical Fitter to join their growing team. The Role

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll play a key role in overseeing mechanical installations and general site works across the UK and Ireland. You'll ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, working closely with site teams and management to maintain exceptional service on every job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assist with mechanical installations and site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and site risk assessments.
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble and install equipment.
  • Support warehouse and logistics activities, including loading/unloading and preparing site materials.
  • Represent the company professionally on client sites and during travel.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in mechanical fitting, site supervision, or a similar hands-on trade.
  • Strong understanding of site-based health and safety practices.
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Desirable (Training Provided If Needed)

  • CSCS Yellow Card.
  • Additional certifications such as PUWER, MEWP, Confined Spaces, Slinging, etc.
