We are recruiting for a Junior Project Manager (M&E) to join a leading engineering organisation based in Retford. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your project management career, working on bespoke projects and installations across the UK, with a combination of office-based and hybrid working.

The Role:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality projects, assisting in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a professional standard.
  • Opportunities to travel to sites and client meetings across the UK, with occasional travel in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of projects, helping to ensure operational and budgetary targets are met.
  • Assist in creating project plans, tracking progress, and reporting on milestones.
  • Support project teams and contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment.
  • Help identify and manage risks, ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
  • Assist with project reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Interest in engineering or mechanical projects.
  • Some experience in project support or coordination (e.g., site visits, reporting, stakeholder liaison).
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK (full UK driving licence required).

  • Basic understanding of project management principles (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
