We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for an exciting 6-month project based in Norwich. Contract Details: Duration: 6 months Location: Norwich IR35: Outside Rate: Negotiable Key Responsibilities: Design and development of vessel systems and pressure systems Preparation of mechanical design reports, calculations, and FEA analysis Design and fabrication of sheet metal components Work closely with the project team to ensure designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements Provide innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in mechanical design for vessel/pressure systems Proficient in SolidWorks Strong background in FEA analysis, design calculations, and reporting Experience in sheet metal design and fabrication Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major engineering project and make a real impact
