An opportunity to join a high reliability electronics environment supporting the test, verification, and improvement of complex electronic products used in critical applications. This role combines hands-on electronics test and fault finding with test system development and production support. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet strict performance, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain electronic test systems and diagnostic solutions
- Convert customer and internal specifications into practical test solutions
- Program and support production test systems
- Diagnose faults on products and test equipment down to component level
- Provide hands-on support to production during technical issues
- Work with engineering and manufacturing to resolve product and test challenges
- Support and mentor technicians and junior engineers
- Maintain technical documentation for test and repair processes
- Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
Essential Requirements:
- HND or Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Experience in electronic test, production, or manufacturing engineering
- Strong electronic fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and similar test equipment
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Understanding of calibration and quality control processes
Desirable Experience:
- Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Python or C# programming
- PCB design or layout tools such as Altium
Security Requirements:
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for UK security clearance. This requires holding a British passport. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

- Salary up to £55,000
- Flexible working including 9 day fortnight and half day Friday
