I'm partnering with a well-established business that is creating a new Health & Safety Manager role, offering an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor who is ready to step up into a management position. This is a hands-on, fully onsite role where you'll have the chance to put your own stamp on the H&S function, shape processes, and grow with the business. Some travel will be required from time to time across East Anglia and Heathrow, however this is very infrequent.

The Role

  • As the Health & Safety Manager, you'll become the main point of contact for all health and safety matters on site.
  • You'll work closely with operational teams, gaining exposure to the full scope of H&S management while being supported to develop your leadership capability.
  • This role suits someone who enjoys being visible on site, improving standards, and building strong working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and improving onsite Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Carrying out risk assessments, audits, and site inspections
  • Supporting and leading accident and incident investigations
  • Maintaining H&S documentation including RAMS, COSHH, and accident records
  • Delivering toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training
  • Working with managers and supervisors to embed a positive safety culture
  • Supporting compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation

About You

  • Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor, Coordinator, or similar role
  • Ready to step up into a management position and take ownership
  • NEBOSH Certification
  • Solid understanding of UK H&S legislation and best practice
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships and influence others
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable being hands-on on site
  • Experience within Logistics or construction is advantageous
