We are supporting our client on an exclusive basis in their search for an IT Systems Administrator, to manage and maintain their virtual data centre while also supporting their production data operations. This is a hybrid role, perfect for someone with a strong IT background who enjoys a mix of system administration and data management tasks.

This is an opportunity to join a small, dynamic team, where collaboration and adaptability are fundamental. While previous experience in our client's specific production data processes isn't required, they offer on-the-job training for the right candidate with a solid IT foundation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day management and maintenance of our virtual data centre.
  • Responding to internal and external user support requests.
  • Monitoring system status, managing backups, and data replication.
  • Overseeing desktop software and Office 365 account administration.
  • Assisting with checking in/out production data sets and performing quality control.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Windows Server & Desktop OS installation and maintenance.
  • Linux installation and maintenance.
  • Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation.
  • Microsoft Office 365 technologies (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange).
  • Active Directory & Azure AD.
  • Networking fundamentals.
  • Data management experience.
