We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our client in Essex. This contract role is for an initial 12-month term with a high likelihood of extension and is outside IR35. The position is fully on-site, 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality electrical design solutions using EPLAN Electric P8
- Develop and maintain detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and design documentation
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust design solutions
- Support project delivery in line with engineering schedules and deadlines
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and client specifications
- Assist with technical problem-solving and design improvements throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Strong, demonstrable experience using EPLAN (essential)
- Background in Electrical Design Engineering within an industrial or engineering environment
- Ability to produce detailed electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Strong understanding of electrical systems design principles
- Experience working within project-driven engineering teams
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a collaborative environment
