DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure Background

Job Title: DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure Background Location: Reading (on-site position) Job Type: Fixed Term Contract – 18 months Salary: £80-85K About the Role: We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is coming from an Infrastructure background to join our client's team. In this role, you'll work closely with the team on regular release testing, conduct in-depth root cause analysis across various architectures, and ensure the health and performance of the CI agent pool. We're looking for a proactive and hands-on technology enthusiast who can independently identify and address potential issues before they escalate. You will also play a key role in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines tailored to a diverse range of hardware devices. Requirements: Strong experience managing Windows systems, including flashing BIOS and working with bootloaders. Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python. A self-motivated problem solver, comfortable working onsite at our Reading office. Desirable: Experience with Git, continuous integration tools, and other collaboration platforms.
