Overview
We are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer to take ownership of PPAP and quality assurance activities within an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will ensure products and processes meet AS and customer requirements through effective planning, validation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain PPAP documentation - PFMEA, Control Plans, and PSWs.
- Conduct MSA and process capability studies to validate processes.
- Manage NCRs and CAPAs, driving timely closure and verified root cause.
- Support APQP/AS activities and FAI (AS) submissions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve process capability.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with ASD and customer quality standards.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing or precision engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and ASD.
- Proficient in PFMEA, MSA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
- Confident with GD&T, engineering drawings, and quality documentation.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving improvement.
