We are recruiting on behalf of a UK-based technology consultancy delivering advanced AI and machine learning solutions to complex, real-world problems in defence and security.
The Role
You will work within multi-disciplinary teams of scientists and engineers to research, design and deploy cutting-edge machine learning systems. Projects span early-stage research through to working prototypes, covering the full ML lifecycle - from data preparation and rapid prototyping to model development, evaluation and deployment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys tackling novel, technically challenging problems and applying ML in real-world or constrained environments.
About You
- Degree (2:1 or above) in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Maths or similar
- Strong Python skills
- Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow and/or JAX
- Exposure to applying ML in novel domains or resource-constrained settings
- Familiarity with a range of ML techniques (e.g. CV, generative models, signal/audio processing)
- GPU/CUDA experience beneficial
- Postgraduate research or equivalent R&D experience is desirable. Consultancy or client-facing experience is a plus.
