Job Purpose
We are looking for a recent graduate to support the trial of a next-generation diagnostic platform at customer sites in London. This role is ideal for someone passionate about clinical research and diagnostics who wants to gain hands-on experience with innovative healthcare technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive full training on the platform’s technology and safe operational procedures
- Support cross-functional teams (Commercial, Integration, Engineering) with platform testing and validation
- Supervise testing at a hospital site, independently or with a team
- Prepare and manage platform consumables (filling/sealing, inventory tracking)
- Monitor instrument performance, log data, and ensure accurate performance records
- Troubleshoot and help resolve technical issues during testing
- Collaborate with teams to report, document, and escalate issues as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Degree (BSc or equivalent) in Biomedical Engineering or a related scientific field
- Laboratory experience through coursework, projects, or internships
- Comfortable working independently and communicating within a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- IT literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Desirable
- Experience in clinical or controlled environments (e.g. cleanrooms, BSL2 labs, clinics)
- Familiarity with Next Generation Sequencing or diagnostic instruments
