Job Purpose

We are looking for a recent graduate to support the trial of a next-generation diagnostic platform at customer sites in London. This role is ideal for someone passionate about clinical research and diagnostics who wants to gain hands-on experience with innovative healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive full training on the platform’s technology and safe operational procedures
  • Support cross-functional teams (Commercial, Integration, Engineering) with platform testing and validation
  • Supervise testing at a hospital site, independently or with a team
  • Prepare and manage platform consumables (filling/sealing, inventory tracking)
  • Monitor instrument performance, log data, and ensure accurate performance records
  • Troubleshoot and help resolve technical issues during testing
  • Collaborate with teams to report, document, and escalate issues as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Degree (BSc or equivalent) in Biomedical Engineering or a related scientific field
  • Laboratory experience through coursework, projects, or internships
  • Comfortable working independently and communicating within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • IT literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office)

Desirable

  • Experience in clinical or controlled environments (e.g. cleanrooms, BSL2 labs, clinics)
  • Familiarity with Next Generation Sequencing or diagnostic instruments
  • Understanding of molecular biology principles
  • Exposure to regulated environments (e.g. GxP, ISO standards)
  • Customer-facing or service experience
