We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager (M&E) to join a leading engineering organisation based in Retford. This is an exciting opportunity to manage bespoke projects and installations across the UK, combining office-based and hybrid working.

The Role:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality projects, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a professional standard. You will also be expected to travel to sites and client meetings across the UK, with occasional international travel in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects efficiently, ensuring operational and budgetary targets are met
  • Create detailed project plans and manage progress to achieve milestones
  • Lead and motivate project teams, promoting continuous improvement
  • Identify and manage risks, ensuring Health & Safety compliance
  • Produce accurate forecasts, reports, and manage project cash flow

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong leadership and confident communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflicts and maintain professional relationships under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Commercial awareness and decision-making capability
  • Experience in M&E project management with multiple stakeholders
  • Contract management experience (NEC)
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience desirable
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK (full UK driving licence required)
  • Interest or background in engineering/mechanical fields
