As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to help us shape innovative products and systems from concept through to manufacture.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and development of bespoke electrical systems and control panels.
Working closely with our engineering and production teams, you'll
- Design electrical control systems and panel layouts.
- Produce electrical schematics using CAD software
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Liaise with customers to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Support production and commissioning teams with technical expertise.
- Drive continuous improvement in design processes and product development.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines technical excellence with creativity and a practical approach to engineering.
You'll ideally have
- A qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in electrical design within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of electrical control systems, panel design and relevant standards.
- Experience with electrical CAD software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
