An established engineering and infrastructure business is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance across both office and UK-wide operational sites. This is a hands-on, integrated HSEQ role requiring someone with strong operational credibility and proven experience across engineering, manufacturing, or field-based environments. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive compliance, improve systems, and embed a proactive safety and quality culture across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HSEQ across office and UK operational sites
  • Manage and develop integrated systems aligned to: ISO9001, ISO14001 & 45001
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation and industry standards
  • Conduct risk assessments, RAMS, audits, and site inspections
  • Manage contractor safety, including RAMS review and permit-to-work systems
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver HSEQ training and promote a positive safety culture
  • Monitor performance, report trends, and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Strong background in a broad HSEQ role (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality)
  • Lead Auditor qualified in ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards)
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or field-based operational environments
  • Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation and HSEQ systems
  • Experience with risk assessments, audits, investigations, and contractor management
  • Understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and site safety practices
  • SMSTS or strong site management awareness desirable
  • Exposure to both site and office-based environments
  • Experience improving or embedding integrated management systems
