A high-end technology consultancy that partners with innovative organisations in life sciences, MedTech, and health technology is looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems and want to work across a variety of projects.
The Role
- This is a consultancy environment, not a traditional engineering role.
- You’ll be working on a range of technically challenging projects, supporting the development of new products and technologies from early-stage concept through to real-world application.
- Work typically involves:
- Solving complex engineering problems across HealthTech and MedTech projects
- Contributing to product development from concept through to prototype and delivery
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electronics, software, scientists)
- Engaging with clients to understand technical challenges and define solutions
- Supporting multiple projects across different industries and technologies
- No two projects are the same, and you’ll be given the autonomy to take real ownership of your work.
What They’re Looking For
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
- Experience in product development, R&D, or complex engineering environments
- Strong problem-solving ability and a curiosity for how things work
- Comfortable working across disciplines and learning new technologies
- Interest or experience in HealthTech, MedTech, or life sciences
- Consultancy experience isn’t required, but an interest in working in a client-facing, project-driven environment is important.
Why This Role?
- Work on a wide range of cutting-edge technologies, not just one product
- Exposure to early-stage innovation and high-impact projects
- Collaborate with high-performing, multidisciplinary teams
- Clear progression into senior and leadership roles within consultancy
- Strong reputation within the Cambridge innovation ecosystem
