Senior Process Engineer in Brighton

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join a technically driven wastewater team in Brighton. This hybrid role offers occasional site visits and the chance to make a real impact across multiple treatment projects.What you\’ll do: Lead the development of innovative process solutions, delivering cost-effective, efficient wastewater treatment outcomes.Produce technical design deliverables including process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, control philosophies, and commissioning plans.Support site operations through performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and implementation of improvement measures.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture.Analyse performance data to inform technical solutions and drive continuous improvement.What we\’re looking for: Degree in Chemical Engineering (BEng/MEng/BSc) or related discipline.Ideally Chartered with a relevant professional body.6+ years\’ experience in the UK water industry or consultancy.Proven track record delivering wastewater treatment projects and operational support.Strong technical report writing, data analysis, and presentation skills.Passionate about innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.Why this role is exciting: Work on high-impact, sustainable wastewater infrastructure projects.Flexible hybrid working with a supportive, development-focused team.Competitive salary and benefits.Get in touch for more details: cpunchard@tecpartners.co.uk
